My Body Is Soft

By Marta Urushadze on November 16, 2018

My body is soft

It bends

You touch it

It feels like a child’s toy.

It’s so fresh

And smooth

Can’t believe

That one day

This exact body will rot

This exact hands will not move anymore.

My voice won’t come out of my throat.

My fingerprints will disappear

Like all the unique fingerprints before me.

Every body dies and never comes back.

But for now

My body is soft

And very very warm.
