My body is a broken gift

By Mariia Koltsova on November 17, 2018

Anna is sitting on the sofa, covered with two blankets. Nikolay and Nika are standing near the window. The stage is lightened up with the soft light of flour- lamp.

-You know, I haven’t understand wheat I have had back then. I was young and stupid, as all young people. Like you are now, but may be you will learn something from my example. I had had a perfect body. I could do everything, everything. I could run, jump, swim.

I could dance. Oh, how beautiful I could dance. I could wear beautiful dresses and dance whole nights. Every Friday, every Sunday, every Saturday. And everyone liked me. I could get very man I wanted, I could make fun of them, made them give me expensive present, millions of roses.

Ok, everyone liked my body, not me. And now I realized it, I see who staid with me and who needed only a perfected picture. Who need me when I broken, who need me when I’m useless and can entertain anyone? What I can do now? I can only complain..

Oh, someone, give me a glass of water!
