I’ll never do that to Esther

By Marie Sevs on November 17, 2018

You said her soul has no depth, her mind is empty, she’s not smart. I wouldn’t say that to Esther. If I ever do, may I be cursed.

You laughed and didn’t read her poems. Your arrogance clear on your face, hands and words. You beat her up because she was on her period and could not stand still. You beat her up for not being able to memorize the geography homework, just because she did not care that much. You didn’t think she deserved that red school diploma. You thought it was all corrupt. If I ever do this to Esther, may I be cursed again.

You wanted her to succeed but expressed yourself wrong. You pushed her to work harder by wrecking her soul. If I ever do that to Esther, may I be cursed!

Couldn’t you just speak to her? Esther wanted your words not your slaps. Couldn’t you embrace her when she made a mistake? She needed it.
