A Piece of Peace
Write in Armenia IWC 2022
in Cooperation with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung
Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and ARI Literature Foundation launch a special issue of Write in Armenia International Writing Camp – A Piece of Peace 2022.
IN the frames of this project young writers aged 24-26 from Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine will come together in a 5-day creative writing camp in Dilijan, Armenia for an educational and networking program.
The ultimate goal of the project is to create a cultural platform for young writers where the issues high on today’s agenda such as conflict resolution, shared future and peacebuilding will be discussed. Also, the participants of the camp will be given the opportunity to learn the art of talking about challenging topics in their writing and other forms of creative expression and will be guided by experienced writers and lecturers throughout the extensive 6-day program in Armenia. The Camp is entitled A Piece of Peace and the participants will be required to write collaborative pieces on the topic by the end of the project.
The tutors of the camp are Armen Ohanyan (Armenia), Davit Gabunia (Georgia) and Tania Postavna (Ukraine).
Project partners are Literature Initiative Georgia and Mystetski Arsenal, Ukraine.
